Catalyst Liberia Incorporated is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-religious organization dedicated to improving rural livelihoods through self-help initiatives. Established in 1999 and officially registered in 2000, Catalyst focuses on agriculture, aquaculture, and rural development. The organization is led by a skilled management team with extensive expertise in agriculture and research.
With over 22 years of experience, Catalyst Liberia Inc. has successfully managed and implemented projects in agriculture, aquaculture, and rural infrastructure development. We collaborate with government institutions such as the Ministry of Agriculture and the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Authority (NaFAA), as well as international and local NGOs.

Catalyst adopts a Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach, ensuring active community involvement in project development. We work closely with government agencies, international partners, and local communities, delivering mobilization, advocacy, training, and empowerment programs.
Catalyst Liberia is governed by a Board of Directors and led by a dedicated Project Management Team, ensuring strategic oversight and effective implementation of initiatives / Projects.
Additional personnel are recruited on a project-to-project basis, drawing from a pool of professionals with Diploma, AA, and Bachelor’s Degrees in agriculture, aquaculture, and rural development.
