WHH (Welt Hunger Hilfe) – PARTNERS Programme – funded by EU (April 2021 – September 2022)
Catalyst Partnered with WHH to implement the PARTNERS program in 12 (6 in each county) communities in Rivercess and Grand Kru Counties with 720 small holder farmers (SHF) beneficiaries. Catalyst provided extension services and trainings to enhance the productive capacity and sustainability of SHF in five target-crops; cassava, Plantain, cowpea, legumes and Moraga.
The “Prosperous Agriculture Roadmap to Nutrition and Entrepreneurship, Reinforcing Sustainability”(PARTNERS) programme was a 5-year action funded by the European Union under the European Union Liberia Agriculture Programme (EULAP)-Component 2 Rural Development.
The overall objective is “to improve food and nutrition security and increase income and resilience against shocks in the rural areas of Liberia across 7 counties’; Rivercess, Grand Kru, Grand Cape Mount, Margibi, Grand Bassa, Sinoe, Bomi. Specifically, the programme aims to improve the productivity and sustainability of nutrition-sensitive agriculture at the level of smallholder farmers.
