The Fish-Lib Project (December 2019 – December 2023)

We are also partnering with APDRA pisciculture paysanne to implement the Fish-Lib Project- “Enhancing smallholder fish farming by agro-ecological intensification and integration into inclusive commercial value chain” supporting fish farmer in Bong, Lofa and Nimba Counties

• 150 existing farms with an increase of fish production from 0,5T/Ha/Year to 1T/ha/year and additional rice 1T/Ha/Year,

• 250 new fish farmers with a fish production 0,5 T/ha/year and additional rice 1T/Ha/Cycle with vegetable gardening using the ponds fertilized water,

• 35 local farmers based organizations

• 3 fish farmers’ unions at County level

• 25 aquaculture small and medium profitable enterprises in semi-intensive production systems

• 30 women involved in fish marketing activities

• 1 fish farmers’ active platform
