CNFA/LADA (2020-2021)

In collaboration with CNFA/LADA extended training to fifteen inland valley fish farmers across Montserrado, Margibi, Bong and Nimba Counties in the areas of Pong development and management and appropriate local fish feed ingredients identification and processing with funding from USAID.

Capacity Building Grant to Support Aquaculture Value Chain Development within LADA program locations in Montserrado, Bong, Lofa and Nimba Counties -The project purchase 5 sets of fish feed processing equipment including feed grinders, mixers and extruders for fish farming enterprises. The equipment are been used on a cost recovery basis. LADA funded 50% of the cost for on-site training to 500 aquaculture farmers in pond management, local feed formulation and application, post-harvest handling (processing and preservation) etc.
